How a scheme gets shortlisted
Selection starts with the goal and its horizon, then with the volatility you can realistically sit through. From there we look at mandate consistency, rolling returns across full market cycles rather than a single good year, portfolio concentration, expense ratio, and how long the current fund manager has actually run the scheme. You get a shortlist with the reasoning attached, not a single answer handed down.
What we do not do
We do not forecast returns, we do not rank schemes by last quarter's performance, and we do not move you between schemes to generate fresh commission. If a category does not suit your horizon, we will say so even when it pays us less.
